Lilac Swing Top + Zaful/ Romwe/ SheIn Review

Ruffle Smock Blouse (Under $20) // Lilac Sunnies ($9) // Distressed Denim (sold out online but loving these from the NSale ~ $42) // BP Marbled Watch ($19)

On Friday my parents and I went out to dinner at the yummiest Mexican restaurant so naturally I wore the most forgiving shirt I could find😂 Afterwards, we stepped outside and snapped some pics because I couldn't wait to share this top with you guys! I ordered it what seems like forever ago (keep reading and you'll understand why) and I was so excited when I got it in the mail! I have been really in to lilac colored things lately including these adorable sunnies for only $9.

When I went to link this top I noticed it was one of the dreaded "One-size fits all" kind of tops. I don't usually order items that don't allow you to pick your specific size, but I thought since I had taken the risk and loved what I got I would take a minute to share my thoughts on this rapidly growing online shopping craze promising trendy clothing at almost too good to be true prices. Websites like Zaful, Romwe and SheIn are some of the most poplar that I have found and ordered from. So basically here's the deal... they are not the best quality. I'd say they compare to the quality of F21 and maybe a little better at times. I have ordered quite a few items in the last year or so since these websites became popular and have honestly never had an issue. However, I do follow a checklist before buying anything from these websites. Basically, when I find something that I like, I 1st check the reviews (if it doesn't have a review I will very rarely order it!) then I read the model measurements. This specific top even though it is a one size measures between a US size 6-8 which is perfect for me! If you are ordering a dress it is extra important to read the measurements just to ensure it won't be too short. Lastly, be prepared to wait. These websites are not ideal if you need whatever you're ordering by the end of the week. I think the longest I have waited is about 3 weeks and it usually only takes between 9-12 days for your package to arrive. In my last post I talked about the importance of investing in quality staple pieces (like from the #NSale!), but these websites are my favorite place to shop for trends that will come and go.

I hope this helps if you have been nervous about ordering that cute dress, blouse, etc. from one of these websites! Let me know if you would like to see more review type posts like this.

Some other pieces I've purchased from these websites include this red sweater, pink skirt and off the shoulder top below (all from Shein).

Thanks for reading & happy Monday! I hope you all have a great week!
