A day at the Orchard

Y'all!

It's officially fall here in Kentucky and the weather has cooled down enough to break out the comfy sweaters. Today my roommate and I celebrated the first day of October by picking apples at the orchard and buying little baby pumpkins for our room! We have been in much need of a girls weekend and with the guys out of town it was the perfect time for a roomie date. We spent the first part of the morning grabbing breakfast at one of our favorite little hole in the wall places. Side note... I currently cannot get enough of apple cider chai's. They're definitely going to be my favorite drink for the next few months! They're way better than a PSL in my opinion. Plus, I've recently gone on The Whole 30 to get back in shape before winter (and all the yummy Thanksgiving food! haha) but today was a definite cheat day! After breakfast we went to the cutest little orchard to pick apples. It was the perfect fall day! Autumn is by far my favorite season.

Just for fun I added a couple of my favorite fall items below:
1. Decorating
Seriously Target always has the cutest fall decorations and I get so hyped about decorating every year at the first sign of fall.
2. Picnics
Okay... this one is silly and can be done all year round, but if you ask me a picnic is the best when the leaves are changing and the weather is crisp.
3. Baking
Wether its an apple pie or yummy pumpkin muffins, fall includes the best of all dessert flavors. Ps. In case you haven't heard of an apple crumb cake... you can find it and more recipes on my pinterest
