July Ipsy Review

This is my second time getting my Ipsy bag of the month (I used to get Birchbox each month and just decided to switch it up) and I have to say, I am SO impressed with what I received this month!

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, they are a company that partners with different brands to bring you 5 new samples each month for the affordable price of $10 a month. I love love love subscription boxes because with having sensitive skin, being able to try a product out for a week or so before purchasing it is what works best for me. I have also found some of my absolutely favorite products through subscription boxes!

This month I thought I would start sharing with you guys what I got and my opinions of the products since I really was so impressed. If you're interested in getting your own bag, you can sign up HERE! I highly recommend at least trying it out for a couple months and seeing what you think! I have also heard really great things about FabFitFun and of course BirchBox just to name a couple.

I will also link the full size below each item in case you're interested in trying any of them out for yourselves and shared one of my makeup looks from this weekend below so you can see what they look like mixed into my daily routine! The Ipsy July bag was called Hot Summer Nights and all of the products were centered around 2016's favorite summer trends. With intense eye colors and vibrant highlights, I'd say Ipsy hit the nail right on the head and did so with quality products.

When I opened the bag and saw that I had received a mascara sample I was super pumped! In the past I have tried little mascara samples and purchased the full sized items a week later when I ran out (especially when I got the Urban Decay Total Perversion) however, that wasn't necessarily the case with this product. I loved how light it felt on my lashes but I felt like I had to put a ton on before I had the result that I wanted. Although, I've heard really great things about other ModelCO products. I would give this mascara an 7 out of 10 for trying (haha).

This lotion sample (thats not really a sample because it's almost identical to the full sized product!) has to be one of the best hand lotions that I have tried in forever! Everything from the smell of this product, which is AMAZING, to the creamy texture is to die for! I will definitely be carrying this around in my purse until I need to purchase some more, and the best part is it is only $12 and is sold at Target! (linked above or in your local store)

I was a little bit disappointed at first when I saw this makeup brush! My first thought was to just add it to the abyss of other brushes in my drawer, but before I did that I thought I would give it a try and I am so glad I did! Although this thing is really tiny, it has now replaced all of my other eyebrow and precision brushes. I holds powder extremely well and is great for sculpting and perfecting those brows. Also, it is only $10 on Luxie. Considering buying more of their Rose Gold line because it is so pretty!

This shadow is by far my favorite product that I received! I am not usually a big eyeshadow person especially when it is colors outside of my comfort zone (i.e. anything that's not a neutral), but this shadow blends out so well I loved pairing it with my warmer brown shades! I can't wait to wear this more when it gets a little closer to fall because lets face it, maroon is always going to be the perfect color for fall!

This highlighting stick is absolutely gorgeous! I loved that Ipsy released in it July because it pairs perfectly with bronzed skin and adds the perfect amount of shimmer and shine. This product is a little bit on the costlier side, but if you're looking for a nice and pigmented highlighter this will definitely do the trick!

I hope you all enjoyed this review! If you get Ipsy's monthly bags and got some of the same products that I did I would love to know what you thought about them! (you can comment down below or tweet me @DaintyBouquet) Also, if you get other subscription boxes let me know which ones are your fav's!

** This is NOT a sponsored post & as always all opinions are mine **
